lots going on... the heat, the buzzing of the fluorescent lights in the office, I'm trying to buy a laptop so I can finally write my book in peace, and I went to the NBA "Love it Life" 2002 Draft last night at the theater in Madison Square Garden. Jee, what a hoot and a half that was... All those tall boys getting their first, or in many cases last, five minutes of fame, wearing their new team caps, all smiling, signing autographs... all younger than me. Oh, well... I'll get my five minutes some day - and they won't be my last.
