Peachy

So sweet, when the truth - his truth flutters,
Gently cooling my face with the breeze from its wings,
Then lands softly on my cheek, caressing my skin.
So soft, like a summer peach juice drop landing on my thigh
Exposed by cut-off shorts, on a beach, somewhere relaxing feel warm inside.
And in the safety of the four walls, snuggling to each other's warmth
I am so grateful, and I bask in the touch of his hand, in the sound of his voice.
In that perfect moment, as all moments are,
I allow myself contentment and forget to look out for what's far.
This allowence to relish in the delicate present I cherish.
Its so pretty, so neat, so serene and complete,
Makes me feel like i'm floating above the top of the world,
my feet just an inch off the peak.
