rain, rain, and more rain - cold rain - that is how I would describe springtime 2003 in New York City. at least its fitting my mood in a way, but does make it rather difficult for me to motivate to go to the Friday Night Poetry Slam at the nuyorican poets cafe tonight. OR for my HOThot roof date...

All I really feel like doin is listen to my new CDs, in heavy rotation we find Ms. Dynamite, this hot new woman(!) MC who's socially concious for a change, the new joint from Lil' Kim, not very socio-concious but so fuckin badass, and the new Mr. Cheeks CD, just cuz I couldn't resist buying it since that "Lights, Camera, Action" song was one of my faves last year. And there's a ballgame tonight, Orlando Magic @ Indiana - that might be good. T-Mac's always fun to watch. I'm glad to hear that A.I. was called up for the Olympic team, he definitely belongs there - we'll just have to see if there's any drama. Not on his end mind you, but so many gargantuan egos on one team... spells - D-R-A-M-A. yay!

Oh, and the Lakers won again yesterday. I can't believe Adam thought I was a Laker fan. For f**k's sake, if you know ANYTHING about me - you know I aint a fan of the boys in yellow.
