ok, people. so the NBA Finals are over. Another season is in the books. San Antonio Spurs are the 2003 World Champions... of the NBA.
Its going to take me a little while to recover, crawl out blinking and yawning out onto the sunny meadow... What a long strange low-rated season its been for the NBA, and for me as well (though my personal life ratings have definitely picked up some in the past 2 months).
Let us raise our glasses in looking forward to next year, when coaches/player changes will make it an exciting and happenning basketball season. Will JKidd move to San Antonio? Will Jermaine O'Neal move to SA? Is David Robinson really retiring? How's Jeff VGundy gonna coach Yao Ming who's about three feet taller than him? What about the Celtics? Are the Lakers gonna come out of the gates all fired up, or are they washed out? (here's hoping for the latter, o'course) ... and the question that's weighing heavily on my mind these days - who's gonna be coaching Allen Iverson and the Sixers?
