artful mindless contemplation

margoshka contemplates, ruminates... meditates on life, love, basketball, poetry, choice, and the lack thereof.

I haven't been writing much in general. Too busy with all the life drama that I'd somehow managed to avoid during most of my adult life. And damn if I'm not having a GOOD time! hehe, at least most of the time.

  • Work is still... well, work. Then I come home to my lovah-boy, who's either moody and upset about work and then proceeds to vent to me about it, or he's moody and upset about music and then proceeds to vent to me about it, or he's all cute 'n lovable and just wants to cuddle with me all night long.
  • And then there are all those basketball games on TV... oh my!
  • Not to mention band practice - gotta get those bass lines DOWN, yo. Gotta buy some freakin equipment, gotta do dis - gotta do dat. Busy.
  • And the plants - they're thriving, most of them. This one sweet thang ain't doing too good, so I've been giving her lots of extra luv and attention. And some water, too, hope it helps.
  • I haven't been able to do as much yoga as I'd've liked cuz I hurt my shoulder last week, but hopefully this weekend I'll get a chance to do some down-ward dog, and triconasana, warrior poses, mmmm... yes, hopefully.
  • Also, we've been working on eating healthy these days, which is fun (hehe). I've started to get quite creative with my tuna salads... Yesterday's masterpiece Tuna Salad Recipe included, 2 cans of tuna, 1 hard-boiled egg (chopped up), half an onion (minced), a bunch of finely chopped spinach, and mustard/mayo/salt/pepper/pepperchino to bring it all together and make it nice and spicey. Mmmmm, tasted lovely on a nice piece of whole-grain toast.
  • I'm looking forward to seeing the new Matrix flick tonight, and lots of band-practice this weekend.

All abuzz with busy-ness, as you can probably tell.
